Parents & Guardians
Parents
and Guardians have the ultimate responsibility of looking after their children. Unless good hygienic practice is maintained
at all times, they can infect each other with harmful bugs; especially when babies are involved.
Everyday activities
such as nappy changing can result in the transmission of dangerous bugs. As soon as a baby has the ability to move around,
hygiene becomes even more important, since it is normal for them to put items straight into their mouths. Toys and baby-chairs
are another source of trouble, therefore it is important to clean them on a daily basis.
It is important to remember
that babies and young children all require a certain level of exposure in order to help them build up a strong immune system.
Therefore it is equally important not to be too meticulous!
